Catholic Women Rejoice was honored to welcome the following dynamic individuals to our fifth annual conference:
Hallie Lord is an author, speaker, co-founder of the Edel Gathering, and a SiriusXM Catholic Channel guest host. She lives in South Carolina with her husband, Dan, and their seven enchanting children.
She is the author of On the Other Side of Fear: How I Found Peace (Summer 2016), editor of (and a contributing author to) Style Sex, and Substance: 10 Catholic Women Consider the Things that Really Matter, and a contributing author to Catholic and Married: Leaning Into Love.
Hallie has a passion for sharing the story of how God taught her to let go of fear and embrace the peace the surpasses all understanding. To learn more, you can visit her at HallieLord.com.
Mary Lenaburg is a Catholic blogger limping along the spiritual road somewhere between Holy Hannah and Snarky Sinner. Married 27 years to her first (and only) blind date, Mary has two adult children. Jonathan, 26, is funny and crazy smart and was the BEST big brother walking this side of heaven. Courtney had significant special needs and went home to Our Lord on December 27, 2014, the Feast of John the Beloved. The Lenaburgs were blessed to have her with them for 22 beautiful years.
In November of 2015, Mary began a new journey as the full-time Liturgy Coordinator for her home parish. Along with helping families coordinate funeral arrangements, taking care of all things liturgical within the church, she has discovered that you can go on living, even joyfully, after suffering heartbreaking loss.
When not dealing with the crisis du jour at work, Mary aims to create Parisian-inspired meals on a Walmart budget in her circa 1968 cramped cottage kitchen. She is proud of the fact she can sew a mostly-straight seam, knows the difference between an alternator and a carburetor, and has learned that her green thumb is actually black.
As she seeks joy among the Pascal candles, dirty dishes, and laundry piles, Mary lives a vocation that is 100% God-given, grace-filled, and exhausting. She thanks God daily for the caffeine and chocolate which keeps her sanity intact, and tries to live by the motto:
“Be nice to your kids, because one day you may need an alibi."

Heather Anderson Renshaw is a wife, Mama of five, and on-fire revert to the Catholic faith. She’s a writer – Real Catholic Mom, All Things Girl: Truth For Teens, Blessed is She, Catholic Sentinel – speaker/event organizer – Catholic Women Rejoice, Called to Love, and various women’s events – podcast producer/ host – The Visitation Project – a self-described Jesus freak and long-time bibliophile. Heather is a consummate nap-craver, coffee drinker, and laundry avoider. Above all, she prays that everyone may experience the healing power of Divine Mercy so they can rejoice and be free.
Jenna Guizar is a wife and mama to four girls (with one in heaven).
In sunny AZ, she pretends to love football for her husband, reads lots of books to her three daughters, and tries not to burn mac n cheese on the daily.
In between being a lover of twitter, being a respiratory therapist at the local county hospital, and [not] burning mac n cheese, she is the Founder + Creative Director of Blessed is She women's ministry + community.
Close to two years ago, she felt a prodding on her heart to start a Catholic women's ministry that meets women where they're at -- whether online or in real life, whether young or old, whether in Spain or in Australian or in the US -- and the Lord has done more with Blessed is She than anyone ever expected.
